  • WHY CHOOSE AVC?

    Click below to learn more!

Your pet is in good hands. Our veterinarians have over a decade of experience each, and most of that time was spent providing veterinary services to pets in this community. We strive to provide individualized care plans that reflect the high-quality, evidence-based medicine that we want for our own pets, that can be customized and catered to your budget and lifestyle.

We are a women owned and locally owned and operated small clinic. It is no secret that corporations are quietly but rapidly buying up veterinary clinics. We strive to provide an independently owned alternative that can successfully compete with the corporate giants. You can rest easy knowing we believe in what we recommend and would follow the same advice for our own pets.

Whether it is routine preventative care or life saving measures during an urgent situation, we all want the best for our pets. But in a world with rising cost of living, we are all more conscientious about our monthly budgets than ever. We strive to provide clear and upfront pricing to avoid any unpleasant surprises. We provide wellness plans for routine preventative care to help with monthly budgeting for your pet's expenses.

We are committed to making choices that help reduce our clinic's environmental impact. This includes incorporating heat pumps in the construction of our clinic, using oxygen concentrators to reduce the carbon footprint involved in general anesthesia, installing energy efficient fixtures, using reusable supplies and materials (when it is safe and sanitary), and when reusable materials are not possible, choosing easily recyclable or compostable options.

Veterinary medicine is a team sport, and that team includes you! We will discuss and explain treatment options with you, review the costs and pros and cons, and help you make an educated informed decision on how to best keep your furry family member healthy. We are committed to providing clear communication and providing a judgement free environment. Ready to see for yourself? Book online today!

    FOOD ORDERS & MEDICATION REFILLS

At Alderwood Veterinary Clinic we are happy to provide prescription food and medications to our clients. For medication orders we request 7-10 days notice for refills in the event we do not have the medication in stock. We are trying to reduce our carbon emissions by decreasing the frequency of deliveries to the clinic.

For food orders, we try to keep the most common foods in stock. If we don't have it in stock we may ask for you to prepay for it as we order it and wait for it to arrive in the clinic. Please allow a 7-10 grace period. Once the food comes in we will have a note on your file that it has been prepaid and will inform you as soon as it is ready for pick up.

We also offer home delivery for food and treats through MyVetStore. Orders over $100 will have free home delivery! You can expect home deliveries in 3-7 days. You can check it out by clicking here!
